So, I began my first week in London...
Orientation into the culture was divided into 3 ways
-Learning about your house (Day 1)
- Venturing around your neighborhood (Day 2)
- and finally, being thrown out into the city and figuring out a way to get home (Day 3)
Our last day of orientation we had a scavenger hunt to view the city of London. Let me tell you its not a generally small city. We were divided into groups of 5 and sent out to take pictures of monuments and places to be found. I am glad the boys of my group could figure out the bus schedule cause I would have been utterly lost. My group and I discovered the city while having a blast along the way. Some points of intrest were:
-Picadilly circus
-The Ritz
-Buckingham Palace (no dad, the queen does not live there)
-National Gallery
-London Eye
-Royal Opera House
The public transportation system is pure GENIOUS I admire the man who invinted the tube
