Music of the Night

There is really only one word that can descibe the performance of Phantom of the Opera I saw last
night... AMAZING!!!

Phantom of the Opera is playing over at Her Majesty's theater, Which was where the musical was originally written for. A bunch of us went together as a group, but we split up due to the cost and what people wanted to pay. Which is why I was in the back row.But in my defense the tickets did only cost 27 pounds. Being in the back sounds like a drag, but the seats were amazing. There really is no bad seat in that house! The theater itself was a sight to see itself it really did show what the theater was like in older times. The theater is the oldest theater still in operation today so you can only imagine what an experience it was. What with its rickety stairs and old carpets. The cast was also spectacular, it was by far the most talented cast out of any musical I have ever seen. The phantom literally gave me chills every time he sung, Gerard Butler has nothing on him.

Gulliver... That's the name of my horse! I love him so much! At first I was super afraid that I was going to be allergic to horses, but it turns out I might not be. Some people say he is old and senile, but actually I think he is just scatter-brained like me! So apparently horses aren't allowed to eat trees who knew? and when my horse decided that was a good idea he simply walked over and started eating. Bear in mind this is the second time I have been on a horse so I have no idea what I am doing. So when the instructor yells at me to keep him from eating the trees what am I supposed to do? Trotting is very hard for me as well and good old Gulliver decided to trot whenever he feels like it with out getting a cue for me or for the instructors. Basically this caused me to nearly fall off my horse multiple times. But, other than that I love horseback riding and when I get home MOM AND DAD I WANT A HORSE!!!

  1. I remember Gulliver! He's a stubborn one. Just yank on the reigns when they try to eat the trees.

And trotting gets easier - by the end of the semester I hardly had to think about it.
