FINALS!!!!!!!!!!

My first semester in LONDON  is coming to a close : (... On the plus side, I get to go home in about lets say 6 days? WOW! But until then, The London house is undergoing some stressful times. Not only, do we have to pack, say our good byes, and fill up on London's Food (Dad... The Nutella MUST be stocked in the kitchen when I get home), But we also have to study for FINALS! Everyone has spent this weekend indoors or at the local Starbucks in order for us to manage good grades on these finals. So, I am writing now because I may not have the opportunity to write again before I go home...

Friday- Instead of studying, my wonderful science professor decides to take us to see Darwin's House. Not only are we all extremely bitter because we are wasting valuable study time, but the house is about 1 hour and a half bus ride out to kent. Oh Joy... Naturally, I brought my science notes but didn't study. Darwin's house is just that his house, with a backyard, and a greenhouse. How we spent 3 hours there I will never know. Appearently we occupied our time quite well. It could have been that in this one particular room there are interactive activities. Such as, evolution flip books, creating your own cross breed of bird, classifying animals depending on their lineage, and my personal favorite how many sheep can you fit on the island? (This includes little wooden sheep and an Island that would tip depending on where you place the weight)... Me and Becca managed to fit ALL sheep on the island and it only took us like and hour! I don't have any pictures of this because photography in the house is not allowed. Who knew Darwin was a stickler about photography?
The group I was in got bored so the 4 of us headed outside to greet the crisp England air. We quickly found shelter in Darwin's greenhouse. Which all of us then turned to and made and immediate Twilight connection (I LOVE us!)... So, we of course HAD to film a parody of it. After that we went to the Cafe for some afternoon tea. I got hot chocolate and scones w/ clotted cream. Clotted cream sounds gross, but it is AMAZING! yum! and highly fattening. We stayed there until we got to leave. When we were walking back to the bus, we noticed it was snowing! unfortunately it was light and didn't travel back to London with us. :(

When we got back to the house, we had to get ready for our "mind the limit" dinner. Basically, minding the limit means if you don't get too drunk throughout the whole semester you could go. So the whole house went because apparently our house has been one of the calmer houses that they have had in the past. First, We went to take a night ride on the London eye. The London eye is this MASSIVE Ferris wheel thing that gives you the best view of the whole city! It was breathtaking at night. After that we shopped at the Christmas markets and then went to MY FAVORITE restaurant Giraffe. I had Schnitzel and Chocolate cheesecake! I swear I have laughed the HARDEST that I have laughed in awhile that night. My table had a blast, I couldn't really tell you what went on, but it was hysterical. Becca, Emily, Michelle, Meggan, and Lauren Hunt sat at the table and the jokes kept on coming.

Saturday (Today)- Has been all about Studying :(... I HATE finals and the fact that we have to spend our last weekend here studying! o well, I go home in 6 days and then come back in a month! :)

My final schedule is as follow
Monday- NO CLASS!
Tues- Humanities and Science Finals
Wed- English

WISH ME LUCK!
